At United Bank Card, we prefer to think of the term ‘free’ as what it used to be – no strings attached, no hidden charges, no penalties for canceling, no fees for applying or being accepted – just a good free program with top of the line free equipment.

That said, there are charges involved with the credit card processing itself and there is a monthly statement fee, but these are so low and competitive as to almost be negligible.

The rates of the Free Terminal Program are as follows:

Retail swipe/Face-to-face transactions:
* 1.69%
* .25¢/transaction .10¢/batch
* $5.00 monthly statement fee
* $25 monthly minimum

Mail Order/Phone Order transactions:
* 2.29%
* .25¢/transaction .10¢/batch
* $5.00 monthly statement fee
* $25 monthly minimum

No terminal rental, joining fee, application fee, misc. equipment fees, or cancellation fee (though we do ask that you send the equipment back). You simply pay shipping and handling.
